Members of the public can see which Tyne and Wear companies are going where and find an empty trip which matches theirs. They can contact the taxi company to negotiate a discounted price. Tyne and Wear Taxi companies can also combine trips saving time and money.
Fewer taxis on the road will ease traffic congestion and reduce pollution.
